Do you know why there is a P in Pterodactyl?
Pter is latin for "wing" or "feather", as in helicopter.
-
I thought he was your dad?
-
My dad can't spell Pterodactyl.
-
I thought PterODactyl was your Irish cousin.
-
I thought you said you thought he was my dad?
-
No, that was just Pter. I didn’t want to say his second name in case it’s the same as yours.
-
Or I spelt it wrong.
-
Actually, you might be right: I have seen him on several occasions stand and spontaneously spin his arms round at 4000 rpm.
-
I thought you said you thought he was my dad?
That’s a double thought, by the way. Tut (did I spell that right?)!
-
No, it should be "Ptut". It's a tut with a bit more spit.
-
Ptit!
-
I'm beginning to wonder whether the "p" in potato is meant to be silent.
-
Or the “p” in rat.
-
Careful, if you're unsure of your bad grammar, you parse!
Yes, the "p" is silent.
-
Or the “p” in rat.
;D
-
I confess that I doubted your veracity Mince, so I googled pter. Well jings crivvens, that is what it means! Please forgive...
-
People often greet my words with disbelief. It's the curse of being the smartest person on the planet.
-
taught by me
-
At home?
-
My father is always giving me advice. It helps to show me which avenues not to bother exploring.
-
Your Dad is the complete antithesis of you (I've met them both, folks). I don't wish to question your biological relationship, but part of me reckons you just turned up on his doorstep as a toddler, marched in, tore up his TV Licence, and sat in front of the telly watching Doctor Who, thinking "This'll do!".
-
To put things in perspective, my dad is the kind of guy who pays parking charges. That alone should speak whole volumes.
-
Good man!
-
my son is the one that borrows things and then thinks there his
work is a swear word in his home
-
.....,,,,, just thought i should use full stops and commas
-
plus paris london berlin well you have to use capitals once in a while
-
Well, I didn't borrow your full stops.
