May and Sturgeon clash over IndyRef2 in Brexit talks in Scotland

I have to admit that, not being one to read the news much, most of the words in that headline make no sense to me. Is IndyRef2 the sequel to the film IndyRef1? Who is Sturgeon? Where's Scotland?
