Perhaps Roger and Andrew would consider publishing a Beau Peep annual ,I am sure it would sell well.

Welcome to the board, Jimbo.

There are already 20 books of Beau Peep strips published, which I am sure you already know, most of which can be bought second-hand from Ebay. If by 'annual' you mean a yearly or even one-off book about Beau Peep to be sold in shops, personally I can't see that either happening or selling, not because Beau Peep isn't good but because I can't see enough people buying it.

But I may be wrong. Indeed, I'd love you to prove me wrong. There's a guy on this board called Rob Baker who has all the Beau Peep strips, and I once had the idea to scan the whole lot and put them online.

Exactly what do you think ought to go into these annuals?

Welcome, Jimbo.
As Mince says, there have already been over 20 books published and most can be found living in eBay land. At the moment, we have no immediate plans for anything new but, hopefully, that will change.

In the meantime, we can regale you with Roger's abortive attempts to open his laptop lid unaided, and also there's the Christmas competition, which Roger refuses to let me win.

...which Roger refuses to let me win.

To be fair it's not Roger that refuses to let you win, I believe I had something to do with it last time...

Yes, but he's in charge of the dastardly conspiracy.

So it was Roger who used his worldly wiles to persuade you to encourage me to enter that particular competition, which I then won by a landslide [1] vote?

See how devious he is?

You make a valid point...I suddenly feel...vulnerable and somehow smaller in stature...the light that once lit up the darkness within is diminishing...the one thing I ever won...was not mine to win at all, and this all happened due to the machinations of an evil genius...

I got a great prize though...look great on the wall...signed and everything...happy days!
