Growing old---more evidence.

Roger Kettle:
When I get on the local bus these days, the driver waits till I get to my seat before driving off. I've always associated this gesture with 80 year-olds on walking sticks. I've tried dancing up the aisle while high-fiving the other passengers but it has no effect. The driver sits patiently with a "take your time" smile until my buttocks have landed. This is deeply depressing. The next time I get on a bus, I'm going to stand by the driver and shout "Gun it, Dude!"
