I was in the early bidding for this but dropped out quite quickly. What say you Roger? If you have a box of these in your attic it might be time to slowly trickle them onto the market!

I missed the boat, Mel----they used to go for ?150!

I've been buying them up recently on eBay (not #1s but plenty of others) to complete my collection. Still missing a few but it looks like I'll always be missing no.1 - can't stretch to sixty quid no matter how much I love the strip!

Roger Kettle:
There is a theory why Book One is in short supply. My son reckons most people bought it and threw it away.

I put books 1 & 2 on eBay before I went on holiday.
I think I was looking for too much as I didn't get any offers,
but one person emailed me and said she would gladly take both books off my hands for
?25.
Of Course I emailed her back with words similar to "don't be stupid" and "on yer bike ya Maddie"

The week before that, 2 x Book 1's had went for ?90 odd & ?70 odd and she wanted 1 & 2 for 25 quid. Aye right.
